Q: What is your photography style?

A: I believe in natural light, unique details and raw emotions; my signature style can be described as natural, classic and bright.


Q: Can I see the full wedding gallery?

A: Absolutely. I also recommend all of my potential couples to view full galleries from all photographers they meet to see what the finished product will look like.

Q: How many photos can we expect to receive/will be available in gallery?

A: The number of photographs taken will vary, as each wedding is different, however on average it is from 600 for a full day wedding photography coverage.

Q: Do you colour correct all the images in our online gallery?

A: Yes, I do. Every image I deliver is in my unique style and to the highest possible standards. Where needed I will re-touch the image, however if upon the request, any objects require to be added/removed, then an hourly rate will be charged depending on the complexity.

Q: Can friends and family view and buy images?

A: All images are placed onto the password-protected gallery. If you share the password with your friends and family, they can also view and buy any images that they would like.

Q: How long does it take to receive the photos after our wedding day?

A: Within 6-8 weeks, you will receive a password-protected link to your online viewing gallery. I also normally provide a sneak peek of a few of your photos within a week of your wedding. If you require the images to be completed prior to 6-8 weeks after your wedding date, a fee of £200 will apply.

Q: Do you take group shots?

A: I do take traditional group pictures in addition to my documentary style. Not every couple wants group photos, however these can be really important. We will discuss this during the initial meeting & I will get in touch with you a week prior to your wedding day and ask for a list of the groups and the name of the person who is familiar with the individuals you would like photographed and who will assist me with organising the groups on the day. Please just be aware that a long list of groupings will result in less time for documentary coverage.

Q: Can we give you a list of the shots we would like?

A: I will do my best to capture all of your requirements as outlined, however the very nature of documentary wedding photography is to tell the story of the day capturing the real emotions. Working from a long checklist will only slow everything down, as I will miss important moments whilst ticking off the wedding photographs.

Although I will probably capture most of your required shots, there may be some that could simply be missed due to the way your day unfolds or the shot wasn’t able to be captured in the way you have outlined, or if time or another reason does not allow the photograph(s) to be taken.

Q: Will we get a USB stick with high-resolution images?

A: USB stick with un-watermarked, high resolution and colour corrected images with an official letter for printing purposes will be posted out to you after the online gallery is ready. In most cases, you can print your photos up to 20x30cm. If you would like to print larger than that, additional post production will be required and this can be arranged for an additional charge.

Q: What rights do I have to the digital prints?

A: Greatdayphoto owns the copyright of all images. You have the right to reprint images whenever you want. However, you may not sell your images for profit, publish or amend your images in any way without the written agreement of Greatdayphoto.

Q: What if I lose my USB stick?

A: There is a £50 replacement charge or £100 if the gallery has been archived. I suggest you make at least one copy of each image when you receive the USB stick.

Q: Will you cover both bride and groom preparations?

A: As long as the distance between you is not more than 20 minutes. If the distance is longer or you have a big bridal party with over 150 guests, I would suggest you considering adding a second photographer to attend your day. There is an additional charge £300 for a second photographer.

Q: How far do you travel?

A: I serve clients all around the world. If I need to travel further than 100 miles, then I ask for a night’s accommodation the day before the wedding to ensure I arrive on time. Q: How do I book you for my date?

A: I would be more than happy to meet you both and discuss your requirements and ideas. This can be either a non-obligation meeting in person or via Skype. All dates are reserved once I receive your signed contract and deposit.

Q: What is your deposit and when is the balance due?

A: The deposit is £200 and the remaining balance is due one month prior to your wedding date. You are more than welcome to pay in instalments though if that is more convenient. There is a £50.00 late payment fee for any payments that are not delivered by the required date.

Q: Do you require a meal at the wedding?

A: I am happy to bring my own food, however if there is meal (sandwich and a soft drink would be sufficient) available for me on your wedding day then I would greatly appreciate it.

Q: What if you haven’t photographed at our venue before?

A: Should your venue be new to me I will try to visit beforehand or arrive early on the day of your wedding so that I can familiarise myself with the layout, find the amazing spots and best lighting for your photos.

Q: What equipment do you use?

A: I use both top of the range professional Canon and Sony cameras with a set of high performance prime lenses.

Q: Are you insured?

A: Yes, absolutely. I have Equipment, Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance. Please note that some venues now require the photographer to have liability insurance.
